Bungalows are usually smaller, 1 or 1.5 story homes that are commonly found in several styles. It isn’t a style of itself, but more a definition of size. A bungalow is commonly found in the Arts and Crafts style, or Spanish Mission style. Most common elements are: keeping the house simple, relying on natural materials, and good quality craftsmanship. We have many homes in our area that can be called bungalows, and most of them have an arts and crafts inspired interior, so much so that the term bungalows, arts and crafts, and craftsman are used interchangeably. |
